Jakarta Law Firm has been established for two decades and is domiciled in Jakarta – Indonesia. Jakarta Law Firm was founded by Erdi Sutanto CH, S.H., M.H. as founder/managing partner. Jakarta Law Firm, is a law office that provides legal services for individuals and companies, by means of litigation and non-litigation.

Jakarta Law Firm was established with the intention of providing legal assistance, legal advocacy for both litigation and non-litigation to people who have legal problems and seek justice in a professional manner and with respect to humanity.

Advocates and Lawyers who are members of the Jakarta Law Firm have experienced in proceedings at every judicial institution.

Advocates

The Republic of Indonesia is a constitutional state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, with the aim of realizing a just, prosperous, safe, orderly and peaceful national life order. In the realm of law in Indonesia, there are four pillars of law enforcement, consisting of judges, prosecutors, advocates and police. These four pillars are equally important, they are known as Catur Wangsa.

Based on Article 1 of Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates:

1. Advocate is a person whose profession is to provide legal services, both inside and outside the court who meet the requirements based on the provisions of this law;
2. Legal Services are services provided by Advocates in the form of providing legal advice, legal assistance, exercising power of attorney, representing, accompanying, defending, and taking other legal actions for the client’s legal interests;
3. Clients are persons, legal entities, or other institutions that receive legal services from advocates;
